I have illustrated 6 childrens books, designed posters, toys, logos, characters, video games, t-shirts, etc. I taught both Drawing and Design at Southern Utah University for 4 years. DRAWING 1- A great beginning class. You wish your stick people looked a little better. Learn the very basics of drawing. We will study basic shapes, line, form, value, etc. Build a foundation of observational drawing skills. 2 different class times - Tuesdays 10:30am - 12:00am and Tuesdays 3:00pm - 4:30pm Price - $120
DRAWING 2- You have some drawing experience. You are comfortable with a pencil. Improve on your drawing foundation. Explore perspective and observational drawing. Draw from your imagination as well. Wednesdays 1pm- 2:30pm Price - $120
ILLUSTRATION- Put your drawing skills to work illustrating stories and concepts. Learn to illustrate with a focus on design elements including color, balance, contrast, emphasis, movement, unity, variety, etc. Fridays 10am- 11:30am Price - $120
T SHIRT PRINTING- Learn the ins and outs of screen printing. We will explore all the aspects of tshirt creation from concept to finished product. Drawing, digitizing artwork, screen preparation, burning the screen, screen printing, drying, cleanup, screen reclamation. Each student will have finished tshirts when done. Fridays 1pm- 2:30pm T-shirt Printing $150
Classes will Start week of August 24 and End week of November 16 (before thanksgiving)
